About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering materials efficiently and safely, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor.
- Validate directions and ensure material is properly secured and within weight limits.
- Unload or assist in unloading material as required.
- Ensure delivery of ticket with material and obtain customer signature.
- Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day.
- Pick up customer returns and validate that product matches request for credit.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
- Report any vehicle problems, moving violations, accidents, and defects to the supervisor.
- Assist in warehouse as necessary.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License for at least one year.
- At least one year of experience driving the class of vehicles assigned.
- Smartphone savvy.
- Experience with unloading and loading materials.
- Familiarity with DOT standards and regulations.
