• Minimum of 2 weeks per month
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 24-hour call coverage with follow-up clinic responsibilities

Licensing Requirements:

• Active Iowa License or active IMLC license

Certifications Required:

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (Board Eligible not accepted)

Referral Bonus: Generous referral fees available Clinical and Facility OverviewTrauma Level: IIIPractice Setting:

• Inpatient and outpatient clinic
• Surgical procedures and trauma call required

Core Responsibilities:

• Rounding on post-op patients
• Inpatient and ED consults
• OR surgical cases
• Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers

Procedures & Services Provided:

• Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements
• Surgical care of hand, wrist, shoulder, hip, ankle, foot
• Trauma injuries, fracture care, sports medicine, and other disorders

Staffing and SupportTeam Composition:

• 4 Orthopedic Surgeons
• 7 Advanced Practice Providers
• 1:1 nurse-to-provider ratio
• 3 cast techs supporting 7 providers
• 3 receptionists and 2 surgery schedulers for 7 providers

Clinic Setup:

• 2 exam rooms and 3 cast rooms per provider
• Onsite imaging, lab, and pharmacy

Patient & EMR InformationAverage Daily Hospital Census: Primarily consults; overall census 160 patients/dayAppointment Lengths: 10-30 minutes (varies by consult type)Population Served: Over 200,000 across 16 surrounding countiesEMR:

• Clinic: GE Centricity (transitioning to Epic in December)
• Hospital: Epic
