Position Summary:
The Transport Petroleum Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering gasoline and diesel fuel to convenience stores, commercial accounts, farms, and bulk plants. Position Summary:
The Transport Petroleum Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering gasoline and diesel fuel to convenience stores, commercial accounts, farms, and bulk plants. This position demands a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service, and efficient, reliable deliveries that support the profitability and reputation of our cooperative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver gasoline and diesel fuel to convenience stores, commercial customers, farms, and bulk plants.
- Respond to reasonable after-hours delivery calls when needed.
- Accurately record deliveries and submit daily load sheets with mileage and meter readings.
- Complete daily Driver's Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain delivery equipment cleanliness (wash trucks/trailers as needed; keep cabs clean and clutter-free).
- Promptly clean up any spills and ensure spill kits are stocked.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles safely; report unsafe conditions or needed repairs.
- Perform required inventories (daily, month-end, mid-year, year-end).
- Promote company-wide sales programs to help maximize cooperative sales.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Pay: By the load (details provided during interview)
- CDL Class A (Required) with all necessary endorsements to operate company equipment.
- Ability to lift and move a 4-inch fuel hose with fittings.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Willingness to work during limited-light conditions as needed.
- Must comply with company drug and alcohol testing policies.
