Job Title : Human Resources Assistant

nHours : M-F 10am-3pm (25 hours/week)

Job Summary :
nWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. This position will support the Human Resources department by handling general phone inquiries, assisting employees with routine questions, managing onboarding tasks, maintaining employee files, and performing various administrative duties.
nReports to: HR Manager
nKey Responsibilities:
n- Respond to general phone and email inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and employee concerns
n- Provide day-to-day support and assistance to employees regarding basic HR matters
n- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, scheduling, and collecting required documentation
n- Maintain and organize employee records, files, and HR documentation (both digital and physical)
n- Ensure accurate and timely filing of documents in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
n- Support HR team with administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
n- Assist with other HR-related projects or duties as needed
Qualifications:
n- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
n- Previous administrative or HR experience is a plus
n- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
n- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Work Environment:
nThis is an in-office position that requires strong communication skills and a customer service mindset, as it involves regular interaction with employees and team members.
nPlease note: This is a largely independent position. You will be the sole employee regularly present in the office, and should be confident in managing a range of administrative and operational tasks without day-to-day in-person supervision.
