nPOSITION SUMMARY:
nThe Cook will provide quality service as well as consistent products. This position will assist the kitchen staff with the daily upkeep of the facility's kitchen(s) in catering and food & beverage.
nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

- Cook and prepare food n
- Serves food in proper pre-determined portion sizes and at the correct temperature n
- Maintains appearance of all equipment and serving counters n
- Maintains inventory in the stock room n
- Cleans kitchen area before and after business hours n
- Scrubs, sanitizes, and stores pots and pans, utensils, and dishes n
- Performs other related duties as required n
- Assists in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and minor equipment maintenance n
- Additional tasks assigned by management n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Understand and follow both oral and written instructions n
- Must be at least 21 years of age n
- Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons n
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary n
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills and be a team player n
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high n
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl n
- The employee is exposed to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with extreme caution n
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside weather conditions and can be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions n
- Significant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling n
- Will be required to operate a computer n
- Facility has intermittent noise n
