SAIC is seeking a Chief Field Engineer who will be a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Joint Range Extension (JRE) Team. The JRE team facilitates customer engagements with current and prospective customers while assisting users across the broad spectrum of Tactical Data Link (TDL) support. Working as a Hybrid/ Remote member of the JRE staff, the ability to be proactive, independent, and reliable is a must. A dynamic professional with the ability to manage their own travel, meetings and coordination with other members of the JRE team, critical thinking and problem solving is a must.

This is a HYRBRID/ REMOTE role in Huntsville, Alabama. MUST be LOCAL to area. Must be okay with traveling up to 25% throughout the year.

JOB DUTIES:

  Works closely with other staff members to ensure that all user needs are met in a timely manner, building future requirements and developing pathways ahead

  n

• n

  Acts as a point of contact with customers, potential customers and assisting users across the broad spectrum of Tactical Data Link support

  n

• n

  Collaborating with end users to build JRE capability requirements

  n
n
• n

  Working with the software development team prioritizing new capabilities and features

  n
n
• n

  Support test and evaluation events

  n
n
• n

  Work with the SAIC production team on HW and capability development

  n
n

n

Qualifications

n

REQUIREMENTS :

n

n
• n

  Bachelors degree and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience

  n
n
• n

  Must be a U.S. Citizen

  n
n
• n

  Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start

  n
n
• n

  Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) Certification

  n
n
• n

  Experience in Tactical Data Link (TDL) Operations, Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) Operations, Army Capability Management, Joint Tactical Ground Station (JTAGS), Patriot Missile System, Link 16 operations, Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP), Program Management, and MIL-STD's and STANAG's.
