- Responsible for setting up the patient in the exam room n
- Perform and Document: n
- Vital signs (manual BPs), n
- EKGs, n
- Reconciliation of medications n
- Reason for visit, health care concern n
- Interview/Discuss with patient changes in patient’s health since the last visit n
- Assist the provider with minor surgical procedures n
- Prepare appropriate medications for injections n
- Responsible for phone messages, faxes, and Medical Reception responsibilities as needed n
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, computer skills for scheduling, and familiarity with general office procedures and equipment n
