Position Description:

Outpost Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production and systems Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive the development, integration, and optimization of advanced C-UAS technologies. This role will be responsible for end-to-end system design, ensuring manufacturability, operational reliability, and performance.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead systems engineering processes, ensuring robust system architectures and seamless integration.
n
• Develop and refine requirements, specifications, and verification plans for C-UAS technologies.
n
• Oversee manufacturing workflows, assembly, and production optimization while maintaining system integrity.
n
• Implement model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies to enhance design and development. ()
n
• Manage trade studies, risk analysis, and performance validation to ensure optimal C-UAS functionality.
n
• Collaborate cross-functionally with S&T, software, hardware, and user teams.
n
• Conduct and Lead Failure Review Boards, failure mode analysis (FMEA), root-cause investigations, and system reliability improvements.
n
• Ensure compliance with DoD standards, MIL-SPECs, and aerospace regulations.
n
• Lead testing, integration, and validation efforts to ensure CUAS effectiveness in real-world
n

Basic Qualifications:

n
• US
n
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
n
• 15+ years of experience in C-UAS, defense, aerospace, or complex systems engineering.
n
• Deep expertise in production, quality, systems engineering, system architecture, integration, and lifecycle management.
n
• Strong knowledge of sensor fusion, electronic warfare, and RF signal processing. ()
n
• Experience in hardware/software integration, cybersecurity, and data link communications. ()
n
• Able to obtain Top Secret security clearance ( Active but dependent on role scope).
