Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and enhance processes for designated GEA Markets, focusing on mechanical separation technology.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to create innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Boost process capabilities and production volumes while adhering to quality standards.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and support experimental designs to advance product development.
  • Document and transcribe data in comprehensive reports.
  • Maintain necessary testing equipment to meet job requirements.
  • Design and implement systems to optimize all phases of production processes related to GEA equipment.
  • Provide training to customers on the safe and effective use of GEA equipment.
  • Educate team members on equipment and processes to foster internal expertise.
  • Work with Project Engineering to develop cost-efficient solutions for sales projects.
  • Excel in a team-based environment, contributing added value.
  • Interpret engineering documents, including P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Engage in multiple GEA markets with a focus on ethanol, protein, starch, or industrial biotech sectors.
  • Utilize knowledge of process controls, motor controls, instrumentation, and automation principles.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • This position reports to the Sales Director.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in ethanol, protein, starch, or industrial biotech fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-oriented focus.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships within the organization and with external partners.
  • Adept at solving complex problems related to process equipment or technical systems.
  • Experience with wastewater or energy projects is a strong plus.

Travel Requirement: This role requires travel up to 75% of the time within North America (Valid Passport Required).
