nResponsibilities
nThe Barrow Informatics Department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Neurodiagnostic System Engineer is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and maintenance for neurodiagnostic applications and related medical devices across various clinical locations. This role requires a strong understanding of both IT infrastructure and biomedical equipment, ensuring the seamless operation of critical clinical systems.
nThe System Engineer will work closely with clinical staff, vendors, architects, infrastructure support, database administrators, and application support teams to troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and maintain the integrity and security of patient data. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently, and as part of a team.
nnResponsibilities Include:Dedicated IT support for neurodiagnostic department.Close collaboration with the facility biomedical department, specifically for support of neurodiagnostic equipment.
nKnowledge of the neurodiagnostic applications/software used, eg. Natus, Caldwell, Persyst, Nihon Kohden.Healthcare Informatics IT background highly preferred
nQualifications
nBachelors in Computer Science, Technology, or Business discipline requiredMinimum 3 years experience required and Healthcare IT background is Preferred
nn3+ years experience with Windows Server operating systems, NAS and/or SAN storage technologies
n2+ years experience with storage networking technologies, Active Directory structures including GPO and GPP Administration, in a large complex networking environment, building management or equivalent monitoring systems
