Manager, External and Regulatory Affairs

to join its External Affairs team. This position is located in the greater Boston, MA area, reporting to the Vice President of External & Regulatory Affairs. The role involves executing, managing, monitoring, and coordinating the regulatory strategy and advocacy within PJM, MISO, SPP, and emerging markets of interest to the company. Primary Responsibilities

Assist in executing the company’s regulatory strategy within PJM, MISO, SPP, and other ISO/RTO footprints, including market design initiatives, interconnection activities, and growth opportunities. Participate in stakeholder proceedings to advance company objectives. Manage and coordinate with external consultants and support to ensure alignment and impact. Represent the company in trade associations. Track and engage in key legislative initiatives at the state and local levels within the assigned footprint. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree. At least five (5) years of experience in electricity generation or wholesale marketing. Strong understanding of Independent System Operators and Regional Transmission Organizations principles. Excellent analytical, interpersonal skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to learn and grow within the team. Detail-oriented, organized, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accurate and cost-effective execution. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficient in working with spreadsheets. Ability to travel 20-30%. Must pass pre-employment criminal background and credit checks.
