Position Details:
- Location: Flushing, NY 11355
- Pay: $2300-2700 per week
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Duration: 22 weeks
Position Overview:
Pride Health is seeking an Ultrasound/Sonography Tech for a 22-week assignment at a Urology/Uro-Gyn practice. The ideal candidate will have experience performing general and vascular ultrasounds and be comfortable working in a clinical setting that involves exposure to both male and female genitalia.
Responsibilities:
- Perform renal, bladder, transrectal ultrasound (TRUS), scrotal, and pelvic imaging.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality diagnostics.
- Follow proper imaging protocols while maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality.
- Document findings accurately and report any abnormalities to physicians.
- Ensure a safe and clean clinical environment in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Graduate of a one-year approved ultrasound program (required)
Certifications:
- ARRT (Sonography) or RDMS certification (required)
Experience:
- General ultrasound and vascular experience required
- Prior exposure in a urology/uro-gynecology setting preferred
