Position: Plant Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of the maintenance staff, ensuring high standards of safety and productivity.
- Plan, assign, and oversee daily maintenance activities, including installation, inspection, testing, repair, adjustment, and calibration of all plant equipment and instrumentation.
- Coordinate maintenance operations with the Operations and Plant Manager to align with business goals and ensure seamless communication across departments.
- Develop and implement effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including lubrication plans and equipment troubleshooting.
- Manage maintenance during scheduled and unscheduled plant outages, including planning and execution of major repairs.
- Oversee the Maintenance Shop, ensuring equipment and tools meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Administer and enforce safety procedures, including lockout/tagout systems, and ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
- Investigate and address safety incidents in collaboration with Environmental and Health & Safety managers.
- Assist in preparing and managing maintenance budgets, and participate in the development of operational strategies.
- Manage relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure effective and safe plant maintenance.
- Promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork among all plant staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6–8 years of related experience in plant maintenance, preferably in a power generation or industrial facility.
- 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of steam-generating power plant operations, maintenance, and control systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights.
