About position:
For our client, we are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are achieved. As the frontline operational leader, you will directly supervise hourly production teams, drive process compliance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Competencies overview:
- Lead daily activities of production personnel across assigned shifts/work areas to achieve output goals.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources in real-time to meet efficiency targets.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety procedures and company policies; conduct incident investigations.
- Maintain product quality through regular inspections and collaboration with Quality Assurance to resolve deviations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production employees to build a skilled, engaged workforce.
- Administer attendance tracking, performance feedback, and corrective actions with HR support.
- Implement 5S/lean principles to ensure a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and optimize processes.
- Track production metrics (safety, quality, productivity) and report updates during shift handovers/meetings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to environmental standards (noise, dust, temperature controls).
