Cultivation Manager

The MA Cultivation Manager will oversee two commercial indoor cannabis cultivation facilities located in Massachusetts. This role is responsible for managing daily cultivation operations, including all aspects of planning, execution, compliance, and personnel supervision. The MA Cultivation Manager leads and develops the cultivation team, ensuring adherence to company SOPs, quality standards, and state regulations. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and plays a key part in driving consistency, efficiency, plant health, and cultivation KPIs across the facility.
Supervise, train, and support Cultivation Technicians, Leads, and Supervisors to ensure the cultivation facility’s KPIs.
Lead all stages of cannabis cultivation, including cloning, transplanting, feeding, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar applications, pest management, and harvesting.
Ensure consistent adherence to company SOPs, quality benchmarks, and compliance requirements.
Manage and maintain horticultural equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure.
Maintain accurate logs of activities, environmental conditions, and cultivation data.
Oversee irrigation schedules, nutrient delivery, and environmental controls; verify and document solution testing data.
Supervise water, media, and nutrient sampling/testing procedures.
Ensure compliance with local and state waste disposal regulations.
Plan and manage daily and long-term cultivation tasks to efficiently meet production goals.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely access to all supplies and materials.
Participate in crop scouting, plant health monitoring, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
Conduct crop inspections and provide pre-harvest yield estimates and operational reports.
Recommend and implement improvements to boost workflow efficiency and plant quality.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements.
Oversee facility maintenance and liaise with relevant teams to address issues.
Must be 21 years of age or older and eligible to work in the Massachusetts cannabis industry.
Proficient in the use and maintenance of horticultural equipment and coco/peat-based irrigation systems.
Capable of troubleshooting technical or facility-related issues and escalating when appropriate.
Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, scheduling, and email communication).
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Micronutrient application, beneficial bacteria, and fungi
Nutrient regimens and implementation
Environmental controls (humidity, temperature, airflow)
Minimum of 2 years experience in cannabis or commercial plant cultivation strongly preferred.
Experience in large-scale commercial cultivation environments preferred.
2+ years of Cannabis cultivation industry experience
~ High School Graduate or equivalent
