Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient back-of-house operation. The ideal candidate will ensure dishes and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned while also assisting with basic food preparation to support our chefs and line cooks.

Responsibilities
Dishwashing Duties
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, and surrounding workspace.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machine, reporting any malfunctions.
• Remove trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines for sanitation and cleanliness.
Prep Cook Duties
• Assist with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients).
• Stock and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Assist cooks with prep tasks to ensure smooth kitchen service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times.

Qualifications
• Previous experience as a dishwasher or prep cook preferred but not required (training provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
