https://youtu.be/CSVMnKCySsY PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Responsible for competitive rack price analysis and strategy implementation for assigned markets/territories, providing pricing recommendations for new market territories, coordinating rack margin analysis, and monitoring, coordinating and communicating supply availability for all refined fuels locations ultimately leading to superior customer experience, sales growth, and profitability for the Energy Division. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for managing and pricing assigned refined fuels inventory locations, while maximizing margins and product movement and still maintain adequate and reliable supply for customers. Analyzes and coordinates regionalized terminal competitive rack price analysis and cost margin assessment, resulting in strategic terminal supply movements that meet or exceed the Energy Division’s budgeted volume and gross income targets. Analyzes, recommends and implements terminal rack and supply pricing strategies for new and existing markets, while enhancing maximum margin structure for renewable fuels inventory locations. Maintains market knowledge and competitor pricing strategies to ensure a competitive rack offering. Assist in establishing daily GROWMARK refined fuels cost assessments for pipeline inventory, thru-put agreements and other product ownership agreements in assigned geography. Collaborates and communicates with Director of Terminal Operations, GROWMARK terminal managers, and associated pipeline operators and schedulers on GROWMARK’s refined fuels supply and scheduling needs, ensuring reliable supply at all GROWMARK owned terminals and inventory locations. Coordinates and collaborates with Refined Fuels-Supply & Pricing Associates in monitoring terminal inventory levels and terminal outages, and communicating accordingly to customers and designated Energy personnel. Collaborates with Supply & Pricing group on the execution and communication of pricing policies, price changes, and supply availability to customers and Energy & Logistics staff, supporting member and non-member sales that meets or exceeds the Energy Division’s budgeted volume and gross income targets. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all GROWMARK, Energy and third-party supported software applications (SAP, Business Objects, DTN tabs, DTN Fuel Buyer, DTN Data connect, e-Supply, Axxis, ATLAS, NuStock, T-4, etc.) that lends to the most efficient set up, maintenance and overall company utilization. Collaborates and communicates with all members of the Supply & Trading team on refined fuel supply situation and pricing strategies, as well as monitoring scheduled shipments, ensuring positive margins and budgeted volume growth for refined and renewable fuels. Monitors terminal inventory levels, terminal outages/allocations and communicates accordingly to designated Energy personnel. Monitors and communicates timely pipeline/terminal liftings and assists in producing a daily sales forecast. Analyzes, develops, and nominates monthly pipeline schedules for the Gulf Coast, Chicago, and Group Three markets, based upon forward purchases and sales made by the Refined Fuels Trading Team. Ensures that all scheduling processes take place in a correct and timely manner. Serves as primary backup to Product and Pricing Manager, and a backup to the Associate Product Analyst in their absence. Coordinates and collaborates with Energy Division staff to ensure after hours assistance is available for customers and logistics during the busy season, including weekend coverage on a revolving basis. Collaborates and communicates appropriately with all members of the Energy Operation, Marketing and Logistics teams to ensure positive growth and superior customer satisfaction on all Refined Fuel products. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Prepares special studies and reports as requested. Required to handle multiple job functions by backing up key members of the Supply & Trading Team during times of absence to ensure constant business continuity. Requires after-hours and weekend monitoring of supply, outages, pricing and logistical loading issues on a revolving basis to ensure just in time inventory and superior customer satisfaction. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a college degree in a business related field or equivalent, plus at least 2-3 years of related experience and demonstrated knowledge of the refined and renewable fuels industry. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Understanding and experiences with energy-related areas including the ability to learn the energy industry technical aspects of different fuels, contracting programs, energy accounting, CME futures and options trading activities, spreads and basis relationships, inventory and supply management, costing, pricing, forecasting, petroleum refining, pipeline operations, and distribution. Demonstrate planning, organizational, problem solving, analytical, evaluation, detail oriented and project management skills. Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion and customer service skills. Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, and achieve success through others. Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Access), and the ability to learn Vendavo and SAP applications and Business Objects reporting. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary. Ability to work hours beyond those considered normal. Ability to maintain complete confidentiality. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
