As a Tax Manager, you will experience this firsthand by preparing and auditing income tax provisions, assisting with income tax filings, consulting on planning opportunities, and coaching and developing team members.

Your key responsibilities

You will support client engagements by coordinating interactions, reviewing work, ensuring timely delivery, developing team members, and managing engagement economics. Staying updated on trends and technical authorities, resolving tax issues, and sharing insights to improve efficiency will be crucial. You will also identify new opportunities for clients across service lines.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law, with about five years of related experience
  • CPA certification or licensed attorney status
  • Experience in tax compliance, accounting for income tax, and understanding US income taxation
  • Experience managing budgets and projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and data mining tools
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work directly with clients' teams
  • Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience in a professional services setting
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptability in working with internal and client teams
