Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Compensation: $20 $30/hour, Depending on Experience (DOE)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in invoicing, account reconciliation, and collections. This position requires excellent attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Post customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable ledger
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts and collections
- Maintain and organize A/R records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Research and resolve discrepancies in billing or payments
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly A/R reports as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to verify job and billing details
- Support month-end closing activities related to A/R
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account status
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable , accounting clerk , or collections roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Experience reconciling invoices and maintaining A/R ledgers
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
