Job Description
Summary
Reporting to the Analytics Manager with a dotted line to the VP of Procurement, The Procurement Analyst works closely with the Procurement Managers, supporting Operations, Legal, and Finance teams. Focus on the prompt and precise delivery of procurement data analysis focused on evaluations of RFX, supplier spend, inventory, and revenues. Proactively identifying areas of opportunity, the Procurement Analyst plays a critical role tracking procurement impact and performance for the organization.
- Generate reports, create data visualizations and/or presentations, as directed.
- Supports communication of financial impact of procurement decisions to business units, as directed.
- Provides supplier insights across categories to support procurement decision-making, as directed.
- Analyze direct and indirect procurement data to support Procurement Managers in making informed buying decisions
- Identify opportunities and discrepancies in spend data
- Maintain supplier KPI reporting, support supplier management and build long-term relationships
- Assist Supply Chain team in RFX activities, supports financial impact analysis modeling
- Compile and provides analysis of vendor RFX responses in a timely and complete manner
- Assist team with contract management activities including renewals, document management, and risk management
- Other duties as assigned
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Supply Chain or related field
- 2-5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a procurement, supply chain or contract analyst role.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and purchase order management.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 required
- Advanced Power Bi skills
- Strong skills in data manipulation and filtering; experience with data visualization is a plus.
- Ability to work with large datasets and extract actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Construction industry experience considered a plus
