Were working with an innovative aerospace company in Long Beach thats shaping the future of flight. As they continue to expand, theyre looking to bring on a talented Senior Accountant to join their corporate finance team. This is a high-impact role that blends traditional accounting responsibilities with forward-looking initiatives tied to growth and scalability.

This isnt a routine close-and-reconcile role. Youll play a critical part in supporting financial reporting for a dynamic, fast-evolving organization, while also contributing to process enhancements and systems improvements. The role offers frequent interaction with leadership and cross-functional teams, giving you a platform to grow both technically and strategically.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Manage key elements of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Assist with the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP
• Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Drive efficiency in reporting processes through automation and workflow enhancements
• Support audit preparation and compliance-related initiatives

What Theyre Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license or progress toward it strongly preferred
• 35+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a blend of public and private sector work
• Solid understanding of GAAP and exposure to large ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities
