Nurse-LPN Or RN
Make a meaningful difference and join the Behavioral Crisis Center in Columbia, Missouri! The Nurse position is responsible for providing nursing services to clients/patients in our 24/7 Behavioral Crisis Center.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all appropriate nursing assessments per service line requirements
- Evaluate the client/patient's physical condition and the need for services
- Complete required screenings, record the client/patient's initial medical histories and vital signs
- Monitor the health status of the client/patient during services provided
- Work with the treatment team to coordinate care based on client/patient needs
- Create action plans for client/patient based on physical and mental health in regards to treatment needs
- Oversee infectious disease control, client/patient hygiene, and related client & facility health issues
- Provide disease prevention, risk reduction, and other health education as needed
- Arrange medical appointments for client/patients dealing with medical conditions
- Consult with a physician/advanced practice provider as necessary or advocate for medical services
- Arrange or monitor special dietary needs for medical conditions
- Review medication requirements with clients/patients
- Administer and oversee administration of medications
- Monitor medication compliance in regard to State Regulatory standards
- Monitor lab levels including consultation with physicians/advanced practice providers
- Coordinate medication needs with pharmacies, clients/patients, and families
- Monitor medication side effects
- Assist Physician/Advanced Practice Provider with client/patient exams
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner
- Demonstrate interest in long-term and short-term goals and objectives of the company
- Other duties as assigned by program leadership
Experience and/or Education Qualifications:
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in Missouri
- Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Missouri
Employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of background check
- Completion of New Hire Orientation
- All training requirements
- Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
