Logistician III

Location: San Diego, CA, USA | Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year | Full Time

We are a premier strategic services firm meeting IT and service needs for commercial and government clients. We are seeking a full-time Logistician III in San Diego, CA.

Active Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management.
2. Support the logistics management of the entire lifecycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.
3. Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets.
4. Manage and track software licenses, review purchase agreements to ensure license compliance.
5. Resolve discrepancies in asset management databases and update records accordingly.
6. Support implementation and management of program changes to meet goals.
7. Develop budgets and operating plans for programs.
8. Reconcile discovered assets not tracked in the database.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 15 years of support experience with C4ISR or similar systems, including analyzing contracts, system design specifications, engineering/system management, developing logistics plans, and supervising logistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with logistic packing and shipment of assets.
• Experience working with a CMDB and supporting business services.
• Understanding of IT Service Management processes.
