Summary: LPN I performs nursing care to residents within an assigned work unit under the supervision/direction of a Registered Nurse. Acts in accordance with the objectives set forth by the nursing department guidelines. LPN II performs certified level nursing care to residents within an assigned work unit under the supervision/direction of a Registered Nurse. May work in a charge nurse capacity and acts in accordance with the objectives set forth by the nursing department guidelines. Your experience counts. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
