Work Schedule: Approximately one 8-hour shift per week. Primarily daylight and evening hours, Monday through Friday! Rotating holiday and weekend coverage availability required, as needed. An occasional overnight shift may be required based on departmental needs. NO on-call required! Responsibilities: Uses two patient identifiers to identify all patients and documents patient history. Practices and maintains MR safety while performing procedures. Presents relevant patient information to the physician and assesses physician orders. Labels, prepares, and administers contrast. Ensures all exams are properly coded and tracked, all patient information is updated and documented, and all charges are entered correctly in appropriate systems. Interacts and communicates with both patients and co-workers while displaying a high level of caring, listening, dignity, and respect. Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program. ARRT registry eligible technologists must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date. MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired. CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Certificate OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.
