The Role: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Manage invoice reconciliation and maintain accurate records of incoming payments, ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts, and support the organizations financial health through diligent, customer-focused, and detail-oriented accounts receivable practices.
- Cash Application: Accurately and promptly apply incoming payments to customer accounts
- Invoicing: Ensure timely and accurate billing to customers
- Past Due Collections: Reduce aging and improve cash flow through proactive outreach
- Customer Communication: Handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve payment issues and strengthen relationships
- Data Entry and Account Accuracy: Maintain customer records, reduce errors, and ensure billing accuracy
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and validate service delivery
- Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to resolve cross-functional issues efficiently
Were Looking For:
- 1-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections
- 1-3 years of experience with Cash Applications and Billing
- Associate's degree preferred
- Strong Excel skills and basic accounting knowledge
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Ability to stay organized, handle pressure, and manage multiple priorities
