Accounting Manager

In the position of Accounting Manager , you will oversee the accounting and compliance functions of the Companys subsidiaries around the world. Responsible for the audit process in assigned countries due to the region's unique regulatory and cultural nuances. The intricate tax laws and financial reporting requirements in assigned countries necessitate a dedicated professional to oversee the audit activities and ensure compliance and accuracy.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Hands-on management of international accounting and reporting, working closely with worldwide subsidiaries.
2. Manage the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, reserves, intercompany transactions, and maintenance of the Company chart of accounts.
3. Coordinate with third-party accounting service providersestablishing closing calendars, standardizing account coding, and ensuring control requirements.
4. Monitor global compliance with corporate accounting policies.
5. Ensure timely and accurate country-specific statutory, audit, and tax filings.
6. Coordinate internal operations, regulatory, accounting, and customer service departments.
7. Drive process improvements, reporting standardization, and efficiency initiatives.
8. Provide timely budget-to-actual reports with variance explanations and collaborate with the Finance team on reports and analysis.
9. Prepare schedules for quarterly 10-Q, 10-K filings, and Board presentations.
10. Oversee the international external audit process.

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. More than 5 years of experience, preferably with Big 4 and a publicly traded organization.
3. 1-3 years of international experience preferred.
4. Strong computer and Excel skills required.
5. CPA certification strongly preferred.
6. Fluent in English preferred.

Additional Information:

Base Salary Range: $101,250 - $135,000
