Your Future Plans
We are seeking a Junior Analyst, PPAs and Structured Origination, to support our origination team responsible for identifying, qualifying, securing, managing, negotiating, and executing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) on utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
The candidate will assist in preparing information and proposals for potential offtakers. The goal is to secure the best commercial contracts for Wind, Solar, and Battery projects in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Produce client-facing materials such as proposals, presentations, spreadsheets, and documents for technical sales.
- Support regional energy marketers with RFP responses, opportunity qualification, evaluation, bid drafting, project data collection, pricing strategies, and bid submissions.
- Identify power offtake opportunities in physical and nodal marketplaces for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
- Research and analyze utility Integrated Resource Plans, corporate sustainability goals, policies, trade publications, and data sets to identify opportunities.
- Develop knowledge of the clean energy industry, including trends, legislation, and competitors.
- Participate in team meetings and calls.
- Track, analyze, and report on opportunities and deals.
- Be a collaborative and energetic team member.
Your Powerful Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in energy, business, sustainability, economics, engineering, or related field.
- Experience in the energy sector, preferably renewable energy.
- Self-driven, confident, persuasive, diplomatic.
- Attention to detail, high-quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other tools.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for learning and growth.
- Interest in the clean energy transition.
