Job Description
Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a Retail Sales Agent - Golf Shop to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort provides north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a 10-hole short course, we provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.
This team member will be responsible for greeting guests in the golf shop. The Retail Sales Associate performs the role of a shopkeeper. They will bill and book tee times. They will also merchandise in the Golf Shop, assist with merchandise selection, and facilitate sales transactions. Part-time with potential for full-time. Must be available on weekends, including Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Welcomes all guests and members into the Golf Shop experience.
- Engage with every member and guest entering the Golf Shop and offer top tier service.
- Maintains proper control and management of the tee sheet.
- Stocks shelves, counters, tables and similar display fixtures with merchandise in a fashion that maximizes product visibility and promotes sales.
- Responsible for shop cleanliness, proper displays, placing new merchandise on floor as well as insuring all items are properly tagged and inventory control.
- Provides suggestions, information, and similar assistance to customers as requested. Maintains substantial knowledge of products in assigned store as well as general product knowledge regarding merchandise for sale in other retail outlets on property.
- Accurately record sales and other transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintains awareness to all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners.
- Participates in periodic merchandise inventory as scheduled.
- Adheres to cash handling policies.
- Completes daily sales reports for analysis.
- Follow up on customer requests and include team as required.
Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of the game of golf.
- Previous experience at high-end golf facility is a positive.
- Must have strong guest service skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- Flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for length of shift.
- Must be detail oriented
