The External Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing internal material flow, ensuring efficient inventory handling, and coordinating logistics operations to support seamless production. This role involves improving Kanban activities from 3PL to warehouse and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Kanban System Optimization: Monitor, refine, and improve Kanban processes to ensure smooth material flow. Implement best practices to reduce inventory waste and enhance replenishment accuracy.
- Compliance & Safety: Demonstrates ABB's core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly. Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
- Collaboration / Leadership: Ensures adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB. Leads their own development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. Experience with Kanban systems and lean manufacturing principles. Strong knowledge of SAP ERP and material flow processes. Leadership experience in coordinating logistics teams and material handlers. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
