Lending to residential real estate investors or better known as fix and flip home rebuilders and rental owners was, until recently, primarily financed by private local lenders and high net worth individuals. Over the last 5 years, the industry has transformed into a business dominated by institutional lenders and national companies. Center Street Lending helped lead the industry transformation and we are one of the largest and most respected lenders in the fix and flip space.

Duties and Responsibilities:
3 + years of general accounting required
- Full-cycle accounting experience required
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Prepare and analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Loan Vision experience preferred.
- Accuracy and diligence
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
Experience: 2 + plus years in real estate or mortgage industry preferred
Education:
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

Hourly
