Our corporate client in the San Fernando Valley, in partnership with CV Resources, seeks a talented Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Finance and Accounting Team. The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller.

Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Status (direct hire, consulting, consulting with possibility of hire) This role is a direct hire role.
Job Site Status (onsite/hybrid/remote) Our client has a hybrid status of four (4) days/week in the office.
Compensation Salary range is $90,000 to $110,000/year. Our client offers health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off (PTO).
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Accounting
- Perform month-end closes of the General Ledger (G/L).
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
Accounting Operations
- Supervise the Accounts Payable (A/P) team.
- Monitor cash flow on a weekly basis.
- Present finding before the Board of Directors.
- Ensure debt compliance by preparing and submitting compliance analysis.
- Manage inventory accounting processes.
- Ensure accurate valuation of inventory.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Keep abreast of the latest GAAP rules and regulations.
- Keep abreast of all employment issues (minimum wage requirements, overtime requirements, tax rates, etc.).
- Accept all relevant tasks as given by upper management.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a comparable major.
- At least four to six years of accounting and finance experience.
- Current or prior employment at a company of at least $250 million in annual revenue.
Preferred
- CPA
SKILLS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

- Proficiency in a major ERP System.
Interpersonal
- Impeccable communication skills to analyze complex transactions and communicate results in plain, understandable terms.
- Self-starter who can take the initiative and work with minimum supervision.
- Superb analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Able to build collaborative relationships.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
