Remote Pharmacy Tech Position
Adecco is currently assisting a National Pharmaceutical client, searching for remote pharmacy technicians. Must be willing to work in the Central Time Zone. Must have a state license and/or certifications. This position takes incoming calls from members, providers, etc. providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria-based prior authorization process. Maintains complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist. Schedule: Assigned shifts vary from 8am to 8pm CT. Training hours 8am - 4:30pm CT. The anticipated wage for this position is between $19 and $22 per hour. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center.
- 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function.
- Pharmacy technician certification is preferred but not required at a state or national level.
- Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
Work from home requirements:
- Workspace is dedicated to business during working hours and is not accessible by others who may be present in the household; telephone conversations cannot be overheard, and documents/computer screens cannot be viewed by others.
- You are required to provide your high-speed internet speeds.
- Minimal home broadband connectivity speed of 25 mb download and 3 mb upload speed. Speed for home internet can be confirmed by going to
- Smartphones are required. The VPN token will need to be downloaded to the user's smartphone.
- That the assignment could be changed to an in-office assignment.
