Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Longs, South Carolina. This position starts as part-time and will transition into a permanent role, offering flexibility with work hours. As a contract to permanent opportunity, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong bookkeeping and accounting expertise who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and general ledger maintenance.
- Record journal entries and maintain detailed records of debits, credits, and account reconciliations.
- Utilize accounting softwares to streamline financial operations.
- Assist in budgeting processes and provide technical support for accounting-related tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax documents and compliance with governmental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement efficient office processes.
- Analyze accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial data.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, such as double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for account analysis and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and budgeting processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of public accounting practices or non-profit accounting is a plus.
