Do you have strong bookkeeping skills and a love for organized, creative environments? We are partnering with a high-end interior design firm with a retail presence, seeking a tech-savvy, proactive Bookkeeper to join our collaborative team. This role will work 5-7 hours/day (flexible based on candidate availability) The ideal candidate will bring energy, initiative, and a willingness to own and improve financial processes.

Key Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Managing QuickBooks Desktop (Retail version) with inventory tracking
• Preparing 1099s and monthly sales tax reports
• Handling payables, bill payments, and month-end reports
• Overseeing warehouse logs and verifying purchase orders
• Following up on invoices and POs to ensure accuracy
• Double-checking order acknowledgments
• Running purchase order reports and tracking order status
• Maintaining spreadsheets on commissions
• Entering payroll data (processed by an external payroll provider)
• Answering phones, distributing mail, and handling general admin tasks
• Greeting clients or assisting with sample pulls, if interested
• Help implement a new inventory/purchase order software
• Is a self-starter who can figure things out independently
• Works well with a team and brings a positive attitude to the workplace
• Can handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Familiarity with Dropbox preferred

Benefits and Compensation:

• 25-30/hr. and working 25-35 hours/week
• 200/month healthcare credit (if needed)
