About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Global Internal Audit to lead and manage all internal audit activities on a global scale. The successful candidate will be a key executive with a strong leadership vision, responsible for the planning and execution of a risk-based audit program. This role demands a self-starter with excellent teaming and influencing skills, who can work closely with the Senior Management team to identify and address risk areas. The VP will also be involved in the development of internal audit personnel, overseeing audit planning processes, and ensuring the effectiveness of the risk assessment process.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related finance field, a CPA certification, and at least 10 years of internal audit experience within a publicly traded company or equivalent. The role requires a comprehensive knowledge of auditing practices, GAAP, AICPA and/or IIA standards, and various risk management frameworks. The VP will be expected to have advanced Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of personal integrity. Responsibilities also include continuous monitoring of the organizational risk profile, developing SOX test plans, and fostering a culture of proactive internal control. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and experience with ERP systems and audit software.
