Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN implements nursing care for assigned patients and assists the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care. This includes demonstrating competency in basic patient care skills, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, and performing EKG's, phlebotomy, specific patient care duties, and other departmental duties as requested. May be floated as needed treating all diversities. Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while demonstrating service recovery if needed and displays service excellence at all times. Follows standard of care as defined within scope of Licensed Practical Nurse. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
