The job summary involves packaging medication orders per directions on prescription labels, ensuring product accuracy and neat packaging, and assisting in inventory control, including handling credits and restocking inventory.

Responsibilities

Job duties include:

  • Count, seal and label prescription cards
  • Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels
  • Return inventory to proper place
  • Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
  • Fill each individual order properly and accurately
  • Maintain reasonable production as determined by supervisor
  • Maintain all quality assurances as given
  • Assist in keeping adequate stocking levels
  • Have knowledge of RX computer system
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Attendance Requirements:

  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required
  • Availability and punctuality for scheduled work shifts

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field

Experience:

  • Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Required (Vermont Employees):

  • Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician

Required (New Hampshire Employees):

  • Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician

Required (Ohio Employees Only):

  • Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician

Compensation: $16.00-17.50 per hour.

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
