A Westside CPA firm is looking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant due to company growth. The responsibilities include preparing 1120s, 1065s, LLCs, S Corps, and C Corps tax returns. The ideal candidate should be professional, maintain confidentiality, and have a strong desire to learn. Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 4+ years of tax accounting experience
- Active CPA license or close to obtaining one
- Advanced Excel skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance
- Prepare and review complex tax returns including 1120s, 1065s, S Corps, C Corps, LLCs, and other entities
- Identify tax savings opportunities, deductions, and credits
- Serve as the primary contact for clients on tax-related matters, providing expert advice
- Stay updated on tax law changes, conduct research, and interpret implications
- Assist in tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive financial services
