Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-permanent basis. Responsibilities:
- Manage overdue accounts by maintaining an updated list and conducting timely follow-ups with customers.
- Communicate professionally with clients to reinforce payment policies and terms while fostering positive relationships.
- Accurately post cash receipts and payments into the system and assist in reconciling payments to customer accounts.
- Perform account reconciliations during the monthly close process, including five core accounts with thorough documentation.
- Handle various accounting and administrative tasks as assigned to support the team.
- Utilize tools such as NetSuite, payment portals, and Microsoft Office Suite to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall success of the accounting department.
- Ensure deadlines are consistently met while maintaining high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or related roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations with precision and efficiency.
- Experience working with SaaS products in Private Equity environments is required.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of managing tasks in a fully remote setting.
- A "go-getter" attitude with a desire to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibilities within the company.
