Job Description: As a Business Analyst, you will work within the Business Analytics and Testing Support Team to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision. You will act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that requirements are accurately captured, articulated, and implemented across Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments, driving successful delivery of enhancements and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with IT project teams and business stakeholders to fully understand processes, challenges, and needs. Develop expertise in business applications and data management concepts, ensuring customer advocacy throughout the SDLC. Conduct root cause analysis to identify system gaps requiring business, technical, or combined solutions. Create process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams (BPMN 2.0) to communicate changes effectively. Document customer-centric requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with a focus on business and technical process improvement. Translate requirements into Agile epics, features, and clear user stories that align with customer goals. Map user stories to technical designs and ensure alignment with business expectations. Organize related user stories into features, documenting dependencies and prioritization. Support the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog. Define and execute test objectives, plans, and cases, including regression testing, to ensure satisfaction. Coordinate, facilitate, and document UAT with business stakeholders, keeping leadership informed. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

Minimum 10 years of experience delivering business and data analysis artifacts with a customer-first approach. 5+ years of Agile Business Analyst experience with solid understanding of Scrum methodology. Experience managing product and sprint backlogs based on customer priorities. Proficiency in translating strategy and requirements into epics, features, and user stories. Strong data analysis skills, organizational data management expertise, and SQL/database experience. Proficient in defining acceptance criteria that meet customer requirements. Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Jira for agile development and tracking. Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Project Server. Experience with reporting systems, operational data stores, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective customer advocacy. Preferred:

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Experience with automated testing tools such as Test Complete, Cucumber, or Selenium

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
