A vertically integrated builder-developer is seeking an
Assistant Project Manager
to support preconstruction and project delivery across modular and ground-up multifamily communities in the Boise area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional with strong technical and coordination skills, looking to grow into a lead PM role.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with subcontractor solicitation, scope development, and proposal evaluations Track and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and drawing redlines Support schedule and budget development, and monitor project progress Participate in change order management, including pricing, documentation, and negotiation Help establish reporting procedures and maintain accurate records Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and authorities throughout the project lifecycle Aid in development of site logistics plans, construction methods, and procurement tracking Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and conformance Support project handoff and close-out documentation Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field 2-5 years of experience in a construction project coordination or assistant PM role Knowledge of contract administration, RFI/submittal processes, and construction documents Familiarity with scheduling and budgeting workflows Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or MS Project preferred Experience with multifamily and/or modular construction is a plus
