Friendship is looking for a

Full Time Staffing Coordinator

to join our Friendship Health and Rehab North team, located in Roanoke, VA. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for direct care staffing of the facility. The Coordinator is the first point of contact for any scheduling functions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Creates and manages daily, weekly, bi-weekly schedules for direct care staff Manages PTO requests and call outs to maintain the required staffing levels Manages application of PRN employees as appropriate Process new hire access and termination paperwork as needed Manages time cards for all direct care employees, including processing exception forms, correcting punches, etc. Trains new employees on how to use the scheduling software Enforces facility attendance policies an points and administers the appropriate corrective action when needed Works closely with facility Administrator and DON Manages overtime scheduling to reduce costs Assists with recruiting functions by addressing staffing shortfalls with Nurse Managers, DON, Administrators and HR Recruiter Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED BLS preferred Minimum of six-months administrative experience in a long-term care facility preferred Must possess basic computer skills and be familiar with basic office equipment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
