Hourly Pay Rate:
$17.50 to $20.00 per hour

New Haven is a residential treatment center dedicated to adolescents aged 14-18 and their families. With campuses in Utah's Spanish Fork and Saratoga Springs, we offer a nurturing, homely atmosphere where we blend residential treatment with advanced academics. Our expertise lies in addressing complex issues such as traumatic stress, family dynamics, relationship challenges, mental health concerns, and more, all with a focus on family-centered healing.
Responsibilities
Maintain a
clean DMV record
and
pass the Embark driving test
before operating any vehicle. Provide safe, reliable transportation , operating passenger vehicles safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all traffic laws (seat belts, speed limits, stop signs/lights, turn signals, following distance, railroad crossings, etc.). Inspect vehicles
at the start of each shift, checking lights, tires, wipers, mirrors, A/C, heaters, warning lamps, and for any damage. Complete monthly JCAHO vehicle inspections
and report any malfunctions, damage, or accidents to the Site Supervisor immediately. Maintain vehicle cleanliness
inside and out; ensure vehicles are fueled, organized, and free of trash and debris. Park vehicles properly
and return all company property at the end of each shift. Do not allow participants to connect personal devices
(e.g., phones) to the vehicle's Bluetooth. Create a positive environment
by treating participants with courtesy and professionalism, using their names, greeting them, and clearly communicating expectations. If student behavior becomes unsafe (e.g., noise, disruption, aggression),
stop the vehicle and address the situation
before continuing. Perform other related duties
as assigned. Qualifications
Must be
21 years or older
and able to
pass a drug screen and background check . Able to
remain seated
for up to
90% of the shift
with occasional movement around the office and apartments. Capable of
operating vehicles, computers, cell phones , and
handling luggage . Must be able to
reach with hands and arms
as needed. Frequently communicates with staff and participants, requiring
clear and accurate communication skills . Occasionally must
lift and move items
(such as supplies and luggage) weighing up to
50 pounds
between vehicles, offices, and apartments.
