We are looking for a Fulfillment Specialist to join our Manufacturing Team in Austin, TX. This role will assist with order processing, ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process outgoing shipments, generate shipping labels, and ensure packages are ready for carrier pickup Proactively identify and resolve issues with orders using various methods and resources Ensure orders are in line with company service level agreements (SLAs) Accurately input and manage data within our business software, including releasing and closing work orders Maintain inventory records through system adjustments Generate and share operational reports to support decision-making Efficiently and accurately pick items from inventory and carefully pack them for shipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned workstations Stay up-to-date on changes to internal procedures and policies Comply with all company safety standards Work closely with other team members to meet daily fulfillment goals and contribute to a positive and productive atmosphere. Must Haves:
Prior experience in fulfilment, distribution, or similar areas. Basic computer skills, including printing and data entry Experience with shipping software and warehouse management systems a plus Strong attention to detail ,
with a keen eye for accuracy Dependable, reliable, and punctual Have a growth mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute. Experience working with eyewear a plus Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus Authorized to work in the U.S. Working Environment:
Work is performed primarily in an optical laboratory setting Environment often fast-paced and deadline oriented May work alone or with others Exposure to dusts, fumes, glass and/or plastic lens particulates, standard chemicals found in optical lab (some of which may be caustic), metal alloy (solid and melted), moderately high levels of noise, fluorescent lighting, cleaning agents and electrical energy This environment requires: Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day per scheduled shift) Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to approximately 45 lbs. Our operations are dynamic and always looking for ways to become more efficient. As a Fulfillment Associate, you'll be an active part of this environment, requiring you to be flexible and quick to learn new procedures and systems as they're implemented.
