Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer
with a
TS/SCI clearance
to join our high-performing team in
Springfield, VA , supporting a leading intelligence customer.

As a VDI Engineer, you'll play a critical role in the
design, implementation, and support
of a large-scale VDI environment that's essential to daily mission operations. You'll be the
technical lead and subject matter expert , working on system design, performance troubleshooting, automation, and process improvement.
This is more than just a support role-you'll help shape the future of virtual desktop delivery in a high-impact, secure, and fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Architect, configure, and maintain a global Citrix-based VDI environment Provide
Tier 3/4 support
for escalated VDI-related issues across the enterprise Optimize desktop configurations for seamless interoperability and performance Act as a technical liaison between VDI platforms and endpoint support teams Lead efforts to automate and improve identity lifecycle and VDI operations Troubleshoot performance issues and proactively recommend system enhancements Collaborate across multiple complex environments and stakeholder groups Conduct trade studies, assess new technologies, and support solution architecture decisions What You Bring Active TS/SCI clearance
(required) 5+ years of experience in VDI environments, with progressive roles from admin to engineer Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience Proven expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (v7.15+), including: Provisioning Services (PVS)
and
Machine Creation Services (MCS) Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) NetScaler / ADC / VPX Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM) App Layering Liquidware ProfileUnity
Experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware VDI solutions Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with Windows Server clustering and Active Directory administration Familiarity with
Infrastructure-as-Code tools
like
Terraform ,
Ansible , etc. Hands-on with
SCVMM ,
VMware vCenter 6.7 , and group policy management Knowledge of user profile/home directory management and desktop software provisioning Why Join Us? Work on

The salary range for this position is typically $145k-155k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
