Inpatient Rehab Medical Director
Location: Missoula, MT
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (Independent Contractor or Employed)
Seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to serve as Medical Director for10-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation unit. This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide a high-performing rehab team in a supportive environment while enjoying a flexible schedule and the natural beauty of the Northern Rockies.
Opportunity Highlights:
Oversee the inpatient acute rehab unit in collaboration with the Program Director and clinical team Ensure compliance with hospital policies, CMS regulations, and Joint Commission standards Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in quality initiatives Flexible scheduling options available (full-time or part-time) Independent contractor or hospital-employed model available Opportunity to make a lasting impact in post-acute patient care Compensation & Benefits (varies by employment model):

MD or DO with active Montana medical license (or ability to obtain) Board Certification required (PM&R preferred, but open to other specialties with inpatient rehab experience) Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills Experience in inpatient rehab or related post-acute care preferred
