Job Summary
Our client is looking for Housing Navigators who will play a pivotal role in advancing their mission to provide timely and quality housing services. The primary responsibilities include offering housing transitional navigation services and collaborating with local Continuum of Care systems and Managed Care Plans. Expertise in the housing and homelessness sector, as well as knowledge of funding regulations relating to HUD, are essential for this role.

Hybrid work model with flexibility Responsibilities / Job Duties
Collaborate with team members to develop outreach strategies. Ensure documentation and housing charts meet program and funding requirements. Support consumer autonomy and empowerment and build respectful interpersonal relationships. Assist members with accessing healthcare, education, and employment services. Increase awareness of recovery programs and consumer advocacy organizations. Participate in community presentations and staff meetings. Conduct intakes and assessments for housing needs and assist in developing support plans. Secure resources for affordable housing and facilitate landlord/tenant mediation. Perform home visits and intervention services to address housing-threatening behaviors. Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree and related experience in a social service related field, or 3 to 4 years of related experience. Qualifications
Knowledge of housing rights related to homelessness and low- and moderate-income housing. Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and exhibit strong communication and organizational skills. Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record or the ability to use public transportation. Preferred: Knowledge of Coordinated Entry Systems, local housing authorities, and related trainings. Skills
Conflict resolution, consumer focus, adaptability, time management, and documentation clarity. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a high-pressure environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Additional Requirements
