Title: Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - HVAC

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - HVAC to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, overhauling, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related equipment, while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) checks and services on refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, ventilation systems, compressed air systems, and HVAC-related equipment supporting building automation systems. Service and repair HVAC systems including refrigerant recovery, evacuation, recharging, leak repairs, and part replacements. Troubleshoot and repair defective breakers, controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and other HVAC components. Read and interpret HVAC manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications. Collaborate with other trades to bring equipment back online promptly and safely. Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver equipment and parts as needed. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Journeyman certificate or minimum of 5 years HVAC experience Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Familiarity with basic computer applications What's in It for You
