Manufacturing Direct Associate

To perform the operation of assembly, testing, QA, and packaging of glass coated wire, HSD assembly, corotron devices, batch/fill/pack tasks, shipping and receiving, and all related aspects of material movement across the site. Tasks include, stocking of raw materials, loading of stainless-steel wire spool, glass tube preform, HSD frames, clamps, glass coated wire spool, testing, receiving/offload or shipping/load of raw materials and finished product onto shipping containers or trailers, staging, sorting and properly storing material throughout the manufacturing process. Completion of production documentation, and packaging of finished product in accordance with established standards and practices. Support all plants and their requests for materials. Inspect and properly use all material handling equipment to ensure all safety requirements are met. Provide the necessary support for products. Must be able to meet company standards for quantity and quality, work shift work and work overtime. Safely operates within a work group that performs the functions of glass coated wire, HSD assembly, corotron assembly, test and blend, fill, pack, QA of finished products. Receiving/loading/tracking of raw materials and finished products for shipping. Be able to perform assembly, testing and packaging of charge stations, spare parts and other packaging as needed. Must be able to meet company standards for quantity and quality, work shift work and work overtime. Performs operator preventive maintenance on equipment and room; including precision cleaning techniques as required and maintains a clean room environment. Manages all recyclables in area. Receives and acts on verbal and/or written instructions from department/shift Supervisor/Engineer and notifies them of any unusual conditions or situations that occur. Performs startup and shutdown procedures, and ensures all testing equipment is functioning properly. Performs QA inspection on all stages of operations and any quality issues that are in question. Performs QA tests for conformance to physical and xerographic specifications that are performed to ensure the outgoing quality of Process products, Production products and Blend/Fill/Pack products meet specifications. Take an active role in ensuring the safety of the workplace and others. Interfaces with Engineering for enhancement of present and future products, performing PMC trials as requested. Continuous monitoring of glass coated wire, HSD operations, corotron assembly, blend, fill, pack for undocumented and documented defects and makes proactive decisions based on defect criteria and reports to responsible operations. Records and maintains all test results on forms and inputs them into computer systems, if available, to provide assembly traceability and to ensure accountability throughout the production process. Follows test procedures, safe job procedures, lock-out tag-out procedures, and operator instructions and shipping and receiving procedures. Maintains inventory of glass coated wire, HSD assembly components, corotron assembly components, batch material and restocks as needed or as directed by supervisor/engineer. Checks calibration of gauges and measuring devices with previously calibrated masters/standards and makes necessary adjustments. Coordinates, and performs product changeovers on equipment. Additional Responsibilities: Work independently. Provide any additional support in other production areas as time permits if all normal duties are fulfilled or absence coverage is required. Participate in Self-inspection tours, recycle activities, safety training, proper disposal of hazardous material waste, and housekeeping activities in work areas. Operate robotic and automated systems. Provide any additional support to the QA laboratory area and any other activities that the QA Manager may require. Any other activities that the supervisor may require. Position has safety sensitive job duties as defined in the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act and candidates will be screened as part of the pre-employment drug screen. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Successful completion of annual safety training requirements Ability to work with little or no supervision Computer literacy Successful completion of FTZ Training Additional Qualifications: Must have good communication skills. Must be able to interface with both production and management personnel. Must have moderate typing skills. Must have good organizational skills. Must be able to read packaging drawings and product specification requirements. Computer literacy for data input and other functions.
